Excerpt: The text of this volume was primarily written by Arnold J. Katz. He was assisted by Michael Glenn and Shelby W. Herman. The estimates of fixed reproducible tangible wealth were prepared by the National Income and Wealth Division and the Government Division of the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA). The estimates for the private sector were prepared under the direction of Shelby W. Herman, who was assisted by Michael Glenn. Significant contributions were made by Kurt Kunze, Joyce Northwood, Craig Hargenrader, Brooks Robinson, and Ernest Wilcox. The estimates for the government sector were prepared under the direction of Tim Dobbs. He was assisted by David Sullivan and Thae S. Park. Significant contributions were made by Jennifer Bennett, Joyce Northwood, Donald Peters, and Charles Robinson.
